Cause I'm a painter.

Top: Thrifted, Skirt: Francesca's, Flats: F21, Necklaces: ModCloth, Max&Cleo, Pearls: Old,
Watch: Betsey Johnson, Bracelet: David Yurman, Bag: Zara, Sunnies: Chanel

Husband calls this my painter's shirt. A little Bob Ross, if you will?
He always has such interesting commentary;)
Forgive me if I look like I'm going to meet my executioner in most of these.
It was, literally, one of the most humid days of the summer. Stifling. Smothering. Bleh.
Fall-if you decide to grace us with your presence
sooner than later that would be much appreciated.

Going to visit my big sister this week, minus husbands and nephews.
What are we going to do with ourselves Bridget?!
This is a rare occurrence.
I'm sure lots of Vampire Diaries and calorie overloading will be involved.

Footloose and fancy free.

Dress: Express (way back when), Cardigan: Francesca's, Belt: Old Navy,
Necklaces: Max&Cleo, J.Crew; Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor, Bag: Zara

Soaking up these last couple of weeks till it's back to the grind.
Can't wait to meet my new theater kiddos.
I'm feeling anxious and excited about being at a new school.
I know God's gotta plan and I'm ready to see Him do His thing.

On we go!

Strawberries. America. What's not to love?

Me- Hat: Francesca's, Sunnies: Karen Walker, Top: F21. Sister- Sunnies: Miu Miu, Top: Gap, Dress: ModCloth.
Recipe courtesy of the fab folks of Southern Living.

Don't you love a holiday? When you lose track of what day it is,
and you swear you'll go into food detox for a few days
after just one more piece of strawberry cake {errr}.
Enter that with some much needed sunning since Mr. Vitamin D
and I haven't had relations in a while. Yep, your all in all perfect Fourth.
Thanks America! Can't wait to do it again next year.

Don't get too jealous of my outdoors-man's catch of the day. He's a man of many talents;)

Local folk.

We're starting to become more acclimated with this new town.
I am happy to say I can manage pretty well without the GPS.
Husband stopped using the GPS like the first day we got here.
He must have an internal compass or something.

Nothing thrilling or over-the-top this past weekend.
Just drove around, going wherever the day took us.
Finished off Saturday night with some yum seafood,
followed by lots of laziness with a little homemade icecream
thrown in the mix.Yeah, we're wild.
There's nothing better than those kind of weekends with J.

Today we're headed east. Laking it up with the Bryan clan for the Fourth
and weekend visiting with J's fam before we scoot back to Mississippi.
Going to be a busy traveling week but a fun one.

Hope your Fourth is full of good times, too much food, and lots of fireworks!

Linking up with Sharon of The Tiny Heart. Thanks gal!
