Let's talk denim.

Look 1: Sweater, Top, Denim, Boots; Look 2: Button-down, Denim, Boots
All c/o Tommy Bahama

I don't know about you guys,
but I can have the most difficult time finding
quality denim that makes me feel and look great.
The right wash, length and cut...
something that should be so simple can get quite complicated.

I was really excited when I came across Tommy Bahama's Denim collection
because they've already done all of the hard work for you.
Great, basic cuts of denim in flattering washes that will make you feel your best.

Today I went with the Tema Skinny Jeans in the Dark Ocean Wash.
I love them! You can't go wrong with a classic skinny in a dark wash.
It hits mid-rise and comes true to size with a slender fit hip to ankle.

Right now is the perfect time to add a new pair of jeans to your Fall
closet because Tommy Bahama is currently offering buy 1 get 1 50% off.
Buy one full-price men’s or women’s denim bottom and get one pair
of equal or lesser value at 50% off. {offer excludes shorts, clam diggers and skirts}
Campaign runs August 25-September 12 online and in U.S. + Canadian full-price retail stores.

Be sure to take advantage, guys! You don't want to miss it.
Happy shopping! xoxo

Fall shoes for the fam.

Me- Dress: SheIn, c/o; Flats: Payless, c/o; Backpack+Diaperbag: Fawn Design {sold out but restocking soon!}, c/o
Hugh- Shirt: Old Navy, Denim: Target, Shoes: Payless, c/o

Happy Friday!
I hope everyone has had a good ease back into the school flow.
Hugh started his first day of mother's morning out on Monday.
He was so exhausted when I picked him up I had to carry him to the car.
Definitely not typical Hugh behavior, but he had a great day!

As I told you guys before,
it can be so difficult finding good shoes for him that are durable but also good looking.
These that we snagged from Payless have been perfect because he can wear
them to school, church, wherever!
I also picked up these flats for myself that are so adorable.
Not to mention, flats are definitely a plus during my pregnancy!
We will definitely be keeping these on rotation through the Fall season.

Hope everyone has a restful and enjoyable weekend.
Thanks so much for reading!

Lash Extensions with Carolina Eye Candy

I have been debating taking the plunge into eyelash extensions for the past year.
There were many questions I had ranging from comfort, to maintenance,
to most importantly-whether or not extensions would harm my natural lashes.
After much research I discovered that Carolina Eye Candy was the most
reputable and professional eyelash and beauty salon in South Carolina.

I was immediately impressed as soon as my appointment began.
My stylist (and CEC owner), Elizabeth took time to carefully assess
the quality, length, and curve of my natural lashes in order to determine
which set of lash extensions would be best.
{You can view a full list of their lash extension offerings here!}
For me, she decided that the Volume Lashes would be best because
my natural lashes were already fairly full and lengthy.
I was so happy with the Volume Lashes, which are thicker and fuller
compared to other classic semi-permanent lashes.
Dimensions of these lashes range from 2D-6D (Dimensions)-I received 3D.
The number stands for the amount of extensions applied to each natural lash.
If you're concerned as to whether they will appear artificial,
don't fret because lash extensions come in varying curls, lengths, and diameters-
you get what makes you feel your best!
If you have any further questions regarding Volume Lashes,
find everything else you need to know here.

To elaborate on my experience with my new extensions,
I've loved them! I'm seriously wishing I had done this sooner.
The comfort is great, cannot even tell I have them.
Best part. It is such a time saver!
It has literally cut my makeup routine in half.
During the week when I wear little, if any makeup,
I still have a put together look.
When I do wear full makeup I only have to apply shadow and a minimal amount of eyeliner.
As far as upkeep, you only need to come back in around every 4 weeks for a fill-in.
Since I had so many questions walking into this process,
I put together a little q&a to answer the most common questions:

What are semi-permanent lash extensions?
Semi-permanent eyelash extensions contain single strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. They are offered in various lengths, thicknesses, curvatures and colors.

Are lash extensions safe?
Yes. The procedure is pain-free and will not harm your eyelids or natural lashes. Extensions are never applied directly to your eyelids.

How are they applied?
You recline comfortably with your eyes closed. The Stylist applies eyelash extensions to your individual natural eyelashes, one at a time, using a medical grade adhesive.

How do I prepare for my procedure?
Do not wear any mascara or curl your lashes. Eyelids and lashes must be completely clean and dry.
 Also remove contact lenses.

How long do extensions last?
When properly maintained, Individual Eyelash extensions can last indefinitely with touch ups done every two to four weeks.

Can I apply mascara to eyelash extensions?
One of the biggest advantages is that you don't need mascara. If you do want mascara, be sure to ask your CEC Stylist about mascaras specially formulated to be compatible with eyelash extensions. Never use water proof or oil based mascara!

If you are in the South Carolina area I strongly recommend you stop by Carolina Eye Candy
and let Elizabeth and her stylists suit you up with a fabulous set of lashes.
They have three locations located in Summerville, Charleston and Columbia
and also offer services in spray tanning, waxing and threading.

Shoot me an email or leave me a comment if you have any other questions!
Thanks for reading and have a great day, guys:)

Layered neutrals.

Wrap: Sole Society, c/o; Romper: ASOS; Hat: ASOS; Sandals: Payless, c/o

As my bump grows and my figure is changing,
I'm leaning more and more towards neutrals.
I was thrilled to receive this wrap!
Its lightweight layering will be perfect as the weather begins to cool.
I also completely adore these precious sandals from Payless.
A great transitional shoe for this time of the year!
I've been so pleased with their awesome shoe selection this fall.
So many stylish and affordable options.

On the baby front,
I'm officially 25 weeks today.
Had a checkup this morning and everything looks great,
right on track with this baby girl.
Still wrapping my head around the fact that I'll be
a mom of two in a few short months.
Crazy, y'all!

Have a great Wednesday!

Transitioning into Fall with Sage Threads.

Top: Sage Threads & Co, c/o; Cut-offs: ASOS, Booties: Dolce Vita; Bag: Tory Burch

Fall can be such a tricky time of the year down here in the South.
One day it may be mid 60s, next day 80s.
This look is perfect to help you transition through that strange period of summer leading into fall.
This Sage Threads top is a great piece to keep on rotation, no matter the weather,
the next few months. Not to mention, it's accommodating for my growing bump:)

Not much new on the baby front. We're still working on a name.
We have it narrowed down to a couple, which is huge progress.
Who knew naming our first girl would be so hard??

Have an amazing week, guys. xoxo

Back to school shoes with Payless.

Myself- Top: Pink Blush Maternity, c/o; Skinnies: ASOS; Sneakers: Payless, c/o

Hugh- Shirt: Old Navy, Shorts: Old Navy, Sneakers: Payless, c/o

How is summer already coming to an end?
I swear this pregnancy is making time fly even faster.
Hugh will be starting Mother's Day Out in a couple of weeks and he's SO excited.
He absolutely loves school.
He did a little one day a week camp this summer and woke up every single
day asking if he could go to "school."
I'm so glad he enjoys it, makes dropping him off that much easier.

I have such a difficult time finding him good shoes for school.
Ones that are comfy, cute, and can endure the long haul.
I was thrilled when I ran across these at Payless because they meet all of those requirements!
I even found an adorable pair for myself too, because 90% of the time I live in sneakers.

I hope you guys have a great start to the school year!
Sad to see summer end but thrilled that fall is that much closer:)

Have a great Wednesday. xo
