Husband and I had a pretty low-key weekend, those are always the best.

Birthday week.

Hello my friends, nothing crazy eventful going on this week.
Turned the big 2-8! When I was little I always imagined 28 as being

so grown-up, with 3 kids, and a big "mom" car.

Weekend wrap

This pretty much sums up our weekend. Husband and I played lazy Friday night, sipping milkshakes, watching movies {or sleeping}.

Yep, we. are. old.

Saturday the fam loaded up to Bham to catch nephew's basketball game. If you have never watched a bunch of 6 year olds try to play an organized sport, let me tell you, such entertainment. Kids shooting for the wrong team, what side of the court should I be on? Cute.

After Sunday morning church, we brunched at the Egg and I. Those that have one in your area, do yourself a favor and go try.

To ombre, or not to ombre.

My close friends reading this post are probably thinking,

"Great, not this again!" 

I have been debating taking the ombre plunge for a while now,

and my much needed haircut appointment tomorrow

has me contemplating yet again. 

Should I gamble on this never-colored mane?

{That's right, hair color virgin here! WOO.}

You knew this was coming today...

Anyone that has ever spoken a word to me knows that husband and I are huge {borderline crazy} Alabama fans. With the un-fun responsibilities of being newlyweds, we weren’t able to make the trip to Nola. We passed along our tickets to my sis and brother-in-law, so at least there was some family representation at the Dome! What a fun season, can’t wait till the next!

I also find myself reminiscing today of our dreamy trip to California two years ago. I'd much prefer that lovely, sunny weather to the gross rain we have today. Hope your Tuesday is great! And duh, I'm leaving ya with a Roll Tide!
