My summer is slowly winding down.

I'm changing to a new school this year and am pretty excited about it!

My last few days have been spent getting settled in my classroom.

I always love the newness of the beginning of the school year, a fresh start.

{Not to mention my new May Designs planner I just ordered it's the small things!}

On a more fun note- I'm headed down to the beach 

this weekend with my girlfriends in Alabama.

Yahhhh!-one more chance to unwind before it's back to school.

We have the best time, pretty much ever.

I have been looking for a good jumpsuit all summer long.

When I ran across this linen one I knew it had to be mine,

even if its orangy goodness looks a little bit like a convict.

J wasn't sure how he felt about it, but usually if he's

unsure about something I'm wearing then it's probably pretty hip;)

I had a wonderful time at my parents' in Alabama.

They moved to the lake when I was in college, so it's 

always so relaxing to unwind and get away from the everyday bustle. 

 I couldn't wait to get back to my hubs and pups though, 

gotta live up these last two weeks of summer.

I hope your holiday weekend was great!

J and I spent a few days back in Bama with his fam.

It was so great to visit with everyone and hang out with old friends.

Unfortunately, it monsoon-ed all week so most

of our time was spent indoors. Got plenty of rest, that's for sure!

Tomorrow I 'm hitting the road again to spend a few days at my parents-

making the rounds before school starts back.

Pleeeease tell me where the summer has gone?!?

I will admit though, I'm kind of starting to get the itch for fall...
